The Founder of Educate to Empower:

Since August 1, 2020, James Ambat (Building Blocks founder) and I have created a grassroots movement to recruit students, professionals and friends to provide their gift of time and talents. Together, we have amassed over 100 volunteer teachers from USA, India, Sweden, UK,Denmark, Holland, Hong Kong and Singapore. Their passion has resulted in teaching about 200 Building Blocks alumni enrolled in grades 4-10.

Virtual platforms such as Google Meet and ClassroomNxt have propelled this program, connecting students and teachers living up to 10,000 miles apart. Since all of our students come from abject poverty, inaccessibility to technology has been the limiting factor.
